On April 10, 2012, The Opportunity Agenda, in collaboration with The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, hosted a briefing to share findings, analysis, and recommendations for advocates seeking to influence public attitudes, practices, and policies. The event took place at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation's Barbara Jordan Conference Center in Washington, D.C.
Grounded in framing and messaging methodology, the briefing covered a range of social justice topics:
- Opportunity for African-American Men and Boys

Major speakers included Alan Jenkins, Executive Director of The Opportunity Agenda and Wade Henderson, President and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. The Opportunity Agenda's Juhu Thukral, Director of Law and Advocacy; Eleni Delimpaltadaki Janis, Public Opinion and Media Research Coordinator; and Julie Rowe, Framing and Messaging Coordinator, also presented findings during the briefing.
