
Jill Mizell, Executive and Research Assistant
Jill Mizell started at The Opportunity Agenda as a Public Opinion Research and Communications Intern in 2009 and is now the Executive and Research Assistant. In 2010, she finished her Masters in Social Research from Hunter College, City University of New York, with her thesis focusing on the relationship between economic opportunity and subjective wellbeing. Previously, she interned with Demos, a public policy research and advocacy organization, assisting the Economic Opportunity Program with policy research on financial barriers to post-secondary education. Prior professional experience has been in the for-profit sector in customer service and account management. Among other things, Jill will be supporting the research team at The Opportunity Agenda with public opinion, media and framing analysis across multiple initiative areas, and has contributed to recent Immigration, Reproductive Justice, Human Rights and Economic Recovery reports.
