Phoebe Eng, Co-Founder, Advisory Board Member

Phoebe Eng, Director of the Creative Counsel, has worked for over a decade with senior management and leadership teams to develop programs and networks that amplify the voices of people of color and women in our nation's cities, companies, and communities.  At The Opportunity Agenda, Phoebe previously served as Creative Director.

Phoebe has worked with several Fortune 100's, including Procter & Gamble, IBM, and JP Morgan Chase, foundations, public agencies, universities and civic associations.  From 2002 to 2004, Phoebe also directed The Social Change Communications Project, a foundation-sponsored research initiative exploring the role of strategic communications in social justice advocacy. She sits on the Advisory Board of Working Mother Media's Best Companies for Women of Color initiative, which produces an annual best practices list, and is a Board Member of the Ms. Foundation for Women, where she has helped conceptualize a fund aimed at elevating the voices of women and minorities in public policy. Phoebe received the New York City Mayor's Innovator Award, the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Medal, and a Distinguished Service Award from NYU School of Law.   Phoebe started her career as a mergers and acquisitions attorney in New York and Hong Kong.
