This year, we were pleased to honor Melissa V. Harris-Perry, Host of MSNBC’s “Melissa Harris-Perry,” Professor of Political Science at Tulane University, Author and Scholar. Comedian and Filmmaker Negin Farsad hosted The 2013 Creative Change Awards will beBryonn Bain, prison activist and actor, performed an excerpt of his thrilling one-man show "Lyrics from Lockdown."
