Max Hartenstein is the Media Research Associate at Health Equity Works. Through social listening, opposition research, and trend identification, their work helps ensure that partners and advocates are equipped to engage effectively with shifting national conversations around health equity.
Prior to joining The Opportunity Agenda, Max supported global campaigns focused on justice and transparency at the World Justice Project. They have also contributed to local climate and racial justice organizing through Bethesda Green and the Catalyst Project, which provides anti-racist education and support for movement-building.
Max holds a degree in Journalism with a minor in Narrative Nonfiction from Emerson College.
