Beyond Democracy: Mobilizing Voters of Color

Democracy belongs to everyone. Yet, many voters of color feel overlooked, viewing the outcomes of elections as serving the interests of a select few. We can change that by sharing stories that inspire people to get engaged beyond the ballot box.

Join The Opportunity Agenda (TOA) on Thursday, June 20th at 1:00 pm ET / 10:00 am PT to hear insights from our latest research on mobilizing voters of color.

At TOA, we’re working with advocates, activists, and artists from the South to gain deeper insights on how to overcome the challenges they face to deepen civic engagement. Our newest recommendations are based on in-depth interviews and videos tested with 4,100 people. As a whole, this study uncovers how stories move diverse audiences based on both demographics and mindsets.

In this webinar, learn about our findings and recommendations firsthand from TOA’s Research Manager Porshèa Patterson-Hurst and Director of Narrative and Research Julie Fisher-Rowe. Plus, get a sneak peek at the exciting projects our Beyond Democracy cohort is working on. We’ll also be sharing advance access to our Beyond Democracy narrative toolkit for those who join the call. Don’t miss out!
