We are thrilled to announce an exciting addition to Team TOA: Soha Ellaithy, our new Vice President for Institutional Advancement!
Hailing from Cairo, Egypt, Soha has lived, worked, and traveled to more than 25 countries, immersing herself in diverse cultures and gaining new perspectives along the way. Soha’s impressive career – spanning notable roles at UNHCR, UNICEF, Save the Children, and Operation Smile – illustrates her deep commitment to social justice. She firmly believes in the transformative power of collective effort, understanding that by working together, we can create enduring change.
Stepping into the pivotal position of Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Soha assumes a vital role in propelling our organization forward. She will spearhead TOA’s efforts to expand the organization’s network of supporters, deepen relationships with existing donors, and cultivate new avenues for funding. In addition, Soha will work closely with our exceptional communications team to amplify the importance of TOA’s work and to ensure that our message reaches wider audiences, sparks inspiration, and furthers engagement. Through amplifying the voices of those we serve, Soha will play an instrumental role in driving the transformative change TOA strives for every day.
Soha is passionate about travel, and she cherishes moments spent with family and friends, scattered across seven cities, five countries, and three continents. Her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to social justice will be invaluable as TOA strives to advance our shared vision of a more just and equitable future for all.
