Brittany is a strategic communicator focused on using storytelling and narrative change to propel movements forward, disrupt harmful stereotypes, empower our communities, and fight for racial and social justice. A native of Durham, N.C., Brittany is passionate about communities having the tools, resources and information they need to heal from the traumas caused by racism and capitalism. She believes movement communications should center the experiences of directly impacted people and ensure our stories are told through our lens, allowing our voices and contributions to be used as tools to help create transformative change. Brittany currently serves as the Communications Manager for Forward Justice, and has previously worked for the National Black Worker Center, Durham Children’s Initiative and Wake County Economic Development.
