The past few months have seen an increased volume of rhetoric that manufactures fear toward African Americans, Latinos, Muslims, and immigrants. We will provide an overview of how to effectively counter this fear-based messaging, strategies for moving persuadable Americans to embrace diversity as a foundational value, and also explore the particular words and phrases that motivate our target audiences to action.
