Enni Aigbomian

Enni Aigbomian leads communications at Independence Public Media Foundation. She supports the foundation’s network- and capacity-building efforts and storytelling of community-led media and internet projects in the Greater Philadelphia region. She also serves on the board of Shelterforce Magazine, a nonprofit newsroom that provides essential national reporting on affordable housing and community development. Enni occasionally teaches the Media in Latin America course at Temple University’s Klein College; in the course, she uses Latin America as a lens to explore themes of voice, silence, (mis)representation, (mis)appropriation, the structure of media systems, and creative resistance. She is also a proud Nigerian, a foodie, and a reluctant cook.
