About
Jade Wilenchik is the Movement Capacity Coordinator at The Opportunity Agenda. In this role, she develops and implements capacity-building models, trainings, and tools for our network. Using her facilitation, organizing, and program management experience, Jade translates emerging narrative research into engaging experiences and practical resources for our audiences.
Prior to joining The Opportunity Agenda, Jade was the Network Policy Manager at the Roosevelt Institute, overseeing curriculum design and program strategy for multiple projects to develop young peoples’ policy and leadership skills. While at the Roosevelt Institute, Jade was trusted as the union’s unit chair and a member of the Executive Committee for the New York News Guild, Local 31003, CWA. Committed to building long-term people power, she has also worked at MoveOn, Jobs with Justice MA, and served in the MA Office of U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren.
Jade holds a BS in Communication Studies with a concentration in Political Communication from Emerson College. During her time there, she was a proud student organizer for Emerson Progressives and Radicals in Defense of Employees, a local chapter of United Students Against Sweatshops.
