Marisa Limón Garza
Marisa Limón Garza is an El Paso native with over 15 years of experience engaging multicultural audiences through the lens of advocacy, education, strategic communications, advertising campaigns, and community involvement. She currently serves as deputy director of the Hope Border Institute, a community-based organization in the El Paso region working for social justice. Marisa began her career as a classroom teacher through the Alliance for Catholic Education. Marisa holds a master’s in education and bachelor’s in English and Spanish literature from the University of Notre Dame along with a certificate in nonprofit management from Georgetown University. She is a graduate of Leadership Austin’s Essential and Emerge programs, and was a finalist for the Austin 40 Under 40 Award.
