Omar Jadwat

Omar Jadwat is a Senior Staff Attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union. He focuses on combating anti-immigrant state and local laws, and other abusive immigration enforcement tactics; he was the co-lead counsel in the civil rights challenges to Arizona’s SB 1070 and numerous other cases. Omar is a graduate of New York University Law School and Yale College, and he is a former law clerk to U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl.
