Rosa Calderon
Rosa Calderon came to the United States at the early age of six. Rosa was able to adjust her status due to the fact that her father had received his green card under the immigration reform of 1986. Her family started the process in 1994 and it took over 8 years to receive her green card and yet another 5 years to obtain her citizenship. With a green card in hand, Rosa was the first in her family to graduate from high school and attend college on a full scholarship. Rosa graduated from Berea College in 2007 with a B.A. in Mathematics and is currently working on her MBA. She is the mother of a healthy active six-year old named Victoria and the wife of Alberto Calderon. They live in Harvest, Alabama.
