Emily Chatterjee is Senior Counsel at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and The Leadership Conference Education Fund. The Leadership Conference is the nation’s premier civil and human rights coalition, charged by its diverse membership of more than 200 national organizations to promote and protect the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. Emily leads the economic security work of The Leadership Conference. In addition, she serves as a short-term legal expert for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) in the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to joining the Leadership Conference, she worked at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), the American Constitutional Society for Law and Policy (ACS), and as an associate in private practice at the law firm of Heller Ehrman LLP. Emily is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and Brown University.
