Linda Sarsour
Linda Sarsour is a working woman, community activist, and mother of three. She is a Palestinian Muslim American and a self-proclaimed “pure New Yorker.” Currently she is the National Advocacy Director for the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC) and locally serving as the Director of the Arab American Association of New York, a social service agency serving the Arab community in NYC. Linda was a 2005 COROS New American Leaders Fellow, and 2009 Fellow of the American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute. Most recently she was honored as a “Champion of Change” by the White House. Linda is also a board member of the New York Immigration Coalition, a coalition of over 200 nonprofit agencies serving the diverse immigrant communities of New York State and an advisory board member of the Network for Arab American Professionals – NY Chapter.
