Kate DesormeauKate Desormeau is a staff attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where she has worked since 2015. Prior to joining NRDC, Desormeau was a staff attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union. She also worked as a researcher at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, a social justice and impact litigation fellow in the County Counsel’s Office for Santa Clara County, California, and a law clerk for the Honorable Marsha Berzon of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Desormeau holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College, a master’s degree in refugee studies from Oxford University, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
