William Gorin is senior counsel with the law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York, where he practiced from 1978 to 2013 (including from 1986 to 2013 as a partner) and focused his practice on corporate law with a specialty in domestic and international financing and business transactions and corporate governance.

Mr. Gorin has extensive experience in nonprofit boards, finance and governance, and currently serves on a number of nonprofit boards, including Sanctuary for Families (Board President), the Hunts Point Alliance for Children, A Call to Men and The Opportunity Agenda.
