Past Work
The Power of Intersectionality
People don’t experience issues in isolation. That’s why intersectionality is central to our work. We know that systems of oppression overlap and interact in people’s lived experiences. Our work reflects this reality – offering ways to communicate about specific issues while honoring their interconnections.
For nearly two decades, The Opportunity Agenda has developed powerful narrative tools across multiple intersectional issues including economic justice, criminal justice, and human rights while addressing cross-cutting dimensions of racial justice, gender equity, and LGBTQIA+ rights. These resources emerged from continuously evolving initiatives, and the insights remain relevant to today’s challenges.
Explore these resources below. We hope they serve as versatile building blocks for your current work—ready to be reimagined and renewed in service of the more just and equitable world we’re collectively creating.
